This is a two day course that aims to introduce students to drawing birds of prey portraits with coloured pencil. Skills and techniques will include colour mixing, layering, blending, how to create the texture of feathers and working on black paper. This is an ideal course for students who have coloured pencils but do not know how to use them and is a good stepping stone to other courses that use the same medium and subject matter. By the end of the weekend you will have produced a couple of drawings.
