Summary
Fair-Isle Crochet is also known as Stranded Crochet and produces some beautiful results. During this class we will work on a swatch and will learn how to crochet using the stranded technique in the round, using the one-handed and two-handed methods. We will also learn how to strand the yarn correctly and follow a colourwork chart, and also how to create a chainless foundation.
Description
Please bring with you
2 colours of DK (8-ply) yarn. Any DK will be fine, just please choose lighter colours to practise with, avoiding dark ones such as navy, dark brown, green or black.
3.5 or 4mm crochet hook - whichever size is more comfortable for you. (If your tension is standard go for the smaller hook, if it's tight use the bigger one.)
Level
This class is suitable for participants who are comfortable with holding the yarn and hook and know how to work basic stitches. Please note that this is not a beginner crochet class.
