Jackie Devereux

Jackie is a full time professional artist as well as qualified and very experienced adult tutor, whose unique work is greatly influenced by Japanese art as well as the light of southern France which was her home for over twenty years. Jackie’s award winning work ranges from pure large contemporary works on paper, to delicate pencil, to expressive pen & ink and mixed media - all experimental in nature. She has travelled the world, always with the intention of capturing people and places as she goes. As drawing is an integral part of her work, Jackie enjoys working with groups and sharing her ideas and techniques, encouraging others to develop their own potential. Jackie’s work is well published and collected internationally. She has been a regular contributor to The Artist Magazine, has exhibited widely throughout the UK and France, as well as in the USA and Japan. She has shown with the RWS, RI and with the Society of Graphic Fine Art, variously in Menier Gallery, Southwark; in Mayfair, Bankside and The Mall Galleries in London, and was elected and served as President of the SGFA for five years.
